Brunswick County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) uses a third party vendor to process accounts receivable. This company bills insurance companies and patients for emergency medical care and ambulance transportation. Ambulance bills are mailed within 10 days from the date of service and are due upon receipt. The billing vendor bills insurance providers electronically, and payment is received and processed by the Brunswick County Revenue Office.
